Saessolsheim: a restaurant for the Imodis estate, while waiting for a hotel

In Saessolsheim, the gargantuan project to restore the Ulrich farmhouse carried out by the ten partners of Imodis is taking shape. After hosting weddings and seminars inaugurated in September 2023, the restaurant recently started service in the cellar… while waiting for the hotel business hoped for by 2028.

The company Seco Tools Tooling Systems, specializing in the manufacture of tool holders for machine tools and boring heads, celebrated its 100th anniversary in Bouxwiller. Better known to older people under its first name EPB, it today exports the bulk of its production in fields as diverse as aeronautics, general mechanics and medicine.

The Saverne court, the closed educational center and the Monswiller media library have entered into a partnership to bring young delinquents to books.

With her master’s degree in hand, the ambassador of the European Climate Pact, Léa Roethinger, is taking advantage of the time she has to create podcasts, which she has called “Eco-Eclipse”. Its goal: to convey stories of commitments made to protect the planet.

The creation of a new association is taking shape to open access to the general public to the new Bouxwiller climbing wall, set up this summer at the Pierre-de-Coubertin sports center.

For the first time, the Young Farmers of the canton of Marmoutier went to the Saverne hospital center on Wednesday, December 18, to give gifts to children in pediatrics. On the way back, they offered the public a lively parade in around fifteen villages.

At the head of the Hochfelden fire brigade since 1997, Commander Marc Durr was rewarded for exceptional service and for his longevity within the corporation. He actually put on the uniform for the first time in 1983 and never took it off.

The project manager for the future reconstruction of the Cosec des Dragons de Saverne has been appointed. The choice of the Ajeance architectural firm, based in Sélestat, was announced on Monday, December 16, during the municipal council. The project was unanimously validated.

Tillian, a young drummer from Saverne and his Haguenovian gypsy jazz group “Jonathan Loeffler and The Christmas Band” prepared for Christmas in their own way: they specially released an album. Baptized Noël Swingthe work emerged as naturally as their meetings.

After fourteen years of construction, the White Wall of Marmoutier has been completely renovated. An adventure which has drawn many young people into its wake and has largely contributed to their socio-professional integration.
