Saint-Louis and its share of traditions
Mark it on your calendars: the 281st edition of Saint-Louis will take place from August 21 to 26, 2025 ! For six days, the emblematic event will honor jousters on the Cadre Royal, but also Sète traditions, street shows, gastronomy… Enough to transform Sète, once again, into a true open-air theater .

The festival of Mediterranean agriculture
Appointment June 13, 14 and 15, 2025 for the second edition of the Mediterranean Agriculture Show! Organized once again in Villeveyrac, the event orchestrated by Midi Events, in partnership with Sète Agglopôle, gives the opportunity to discover the richness of the agricultural world, promote the land and sea know-how of our territory, meet passionate farmers and exchange with them! On the program: around a hundred exhibitor stands spread across several villages (wine growers, artisans, producers, breeders, agricultural machinery, training, institutional, hunting, fishing, etc.), workshops, conferences, tastings, two festive evenings, etc.
For its 30th edition planned from July 15 to 21, 2025the Jazz à Sète festival has chosen to focus on safe values. Biréli Lagrène, Richard Bona, Avishai Cohen, Marcus Miller, Melody Gardot, John Scofield… An exceptional program in the enchanting setting of the Théâtre de la Mer! The University Center returns to school
The Michèle-Weil University Center is officially back at the start of the year, precisely Monday January 6. The former Victor-Hugo college has undergone a complete renovation to ultimately accommodate up to 400 people. This space dedicated to professional training and higher education must consolidate the local training offer in Sète. University Bachelor of Technology, Master in Circular Economy, Regional Digital School, Connected Campus, MLI training room, etc.: the university center will thus welcome students, apprentices, trainees in professional training, but also company employees or community…
The 77th Feast of Saint Peter and the Fishermen will be celebrated the weekend of July 5 and 6in Sète. A traditional and warm event hosted by the Sète-Môle Fishermen’s Association, Saint-Pierre Day unites seafarers around their patron saint. On the program: transfer of the statue of Saint-Pierre, high mass, sea procession, torchlight procession, jousting tournament, exhibitions, fishing village and concerts.

The City of Sète promises a week full of events, next Mayfor the Youth Conference 2025. Workshops, citizen participation, sharing of experiences, orientation forum, eloquence competition… All, with the active participation of the municipal youth council and the mobilization of numerous actors from around the world education, integration, employment and social issues.

It’s the year of the sea in Sète
Sète accompanies in 2025 the Year of the Sea in France, which aims to raise awareness of the marine world, its professions, its beauty, its requirements, its problems and its solutions. If the Sète program on the subject is not yet known, we know that the City will act as relay for the Marbec association (MARine Biodiversity Exploitation and Conservation), a research unit specializing in the study of marine biodiversity and its uses. Depollution operations and exhibitions will also be on the program.

The Fine Arts finally renovated
A true architectural gem, Villa Erialc, which houses the School of Fine Arts in Sète, continued its transformation in 2024. Its vast works will be completed in 2025. The renovation and expansion project began in February 2021, including the restoration of excellent pieces (stained glass windows, fireplaces), bringing the building up to standard, renovating the facades, creating a large 200 m2 workshop. and a hanging garden, as well as a completely remodeled park. As a reminder, the School welcomes more than 650 users in amateur practice and around thirty students in preparatory classes.

Oursinadea large open-air tavern, attracts visitors in March who come to taste the best that the Thau basin has to offer: sea urchins, oysters, mussels, tielles and other local delights. It will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2025, just like the Thau Summer Festival this summer, during which, throughout the Thau basin, music mixes with tastings of wines and local products. Also launched ten years ago, the Eel Festivalin Marseillan, will invite you, this fall, to a gourmet day around one of the flagship products of the Etang de Thau.
