This has been a tradition for many years. At the end of January, FC Erguël offers the population of Saint-Imier and much further afield to celebrate the “Little New Year”, just to end the first month of the new year in style. For the 2025 formula, which will take place on January 24 and 25, no less than five comedians have been invited to take the stage of the performance hall.
Two different evenings
On Friday, Nathalie Devantay will be the mistress of ceremonies. She will share the stage with two other well-known comedians in French-speaking Switzerland, namely Sandrine Viglino (regular at Dicoders on La Première) and Yoann Provenzano (known for her offbeat videos on the Web). Rising star Lord Beeve, a former French teacher converted to comedy, will complete the line-up. On the program: music and sketches in solo, duo or trio.
As for the Saturday evening, it will be hosted by Charles Nouveau, a regular on both Swiss and French stages and waves. In Saint-Imier, he will present the best passages from his shows Hors-jeu (where football is king) and The Expression of My Distinguished Sentiments, which talks as much about war and work as it does about pornography.
