Charlie Hebdo at the Press Club
From January 7 to 11, 2024, the Press Club presents the exhibition Charlie’s humor. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the January 7, 2015 attack on Charlie Hebdo, the institution is presenting 45 drawings from the satirical newspaper “with the aim of raising awareness among young people of this unique humor.”
Musical discoveries at Django
Friday January 10, five local groups will audition for the Printemps de Bourges springboard at the Django space. The ears of Strasbourg residents will thus be able to discover the duo Exotica Lunatica. Already well accustomed to local scenes, the artists mix lively violin and voices from elsewhere with sounds inspired by Greece and Turkey in great soaring journeys resembling epics.
It will also be an opportunity to dive into the wild rhythms of Macrowavewhich is defined as electronic cinematic music. Or waddle to the words of Naekoor to savor the hip-hop of Yendor to participate in the call for a revolution of Louise XIV.
Dancing women at Pôle Sud
From January 14 to 29, the Pôle Sud venue is programming ten dance shows, meetings and workshops as part of the festival The year begins with them. Thus on January 14 and 15, Chandra Grangean and Lise Messina will present Redo ita 45-minute piece that explores societal norms through blonde wigs and beige plasters. The same evenings, Mathilde Monnier presents Black lightsan award-winning creation that explores violence against women.

A documentary to finally understand the Sarkozy affair

Club culture at Studios du Rhin
For its fourth edition, the festival Club’in Europe will be held at Studios du Rhin from January 23 to 26, 2025. It intends to promote clubbing, house and hiphop culture across borders by getting artists to collaborate and audiences to dance.
Dance battles, surprise concerts, discussions around House practice or even master classes for dancers, the program is aimed at both professionals and novices curious to learn more about this culture. Evenings with carefully chosen DJs are also offered for those who prefer to dance in the dark.
