Monday evening the last episode of the fourth season of Alerts was broadcast.

At the very end of the show, acting commander Roméo Goulet is stabbed by a stranger in the police station parking lot.
A publication on the series’ social networks seems to confirm the obvious: the charming character played by Jean-Michel Anctil has died.
« Who killed Roméo Goulet? And why? ????”, it is written alongside an image of the two men; the victim and his killer, played by Luis Oliva.
Additionally, in the trailer for the next season, Frédéric Lamontagne (Benoît McGinnis) can be heard saying: “ we will make people regret having taken the life not only of a police officer, but of a brother ».
Viewers have speculated about the identity of the murderer. Here’s one of the most convincing fan guesses:
- « Romeo and his colleague who supposedly committed suicide probably killed someone from the killer’s family. »
Remember that the assassin whispers something in Romeo’s ear and he apologizes before dying.
