Pink Martini will perform at the 44^e edition of the Jazz sous les pommiers festival, in Coutances, in Manche.

An event scheduled from May 24 to 31, 2025.

Two concerts with the original singer

The New York group, made famous throughout the world with his title “I don’t want to work”, is expected in the large Marcel-Hélie hall, Saturday May 24, for two concerts: at 5:75 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

If he has already performed at the Coutançais festival, it is however “the first time that he comes with the original singer, China Forbes”, underlines Denis Le Bas, director of the festival.

The group is scheduled as part of its 30-year career tour: “A few days before, he will perform at the Accor Arena,” confides Denis Le Bas. And we are the only date in the West of France. »

An exceptional concert for the general public, composed of Latin music and music hall standards, warmly recommended by the director of Jazz sous les pommiers, who saw him in concert recently in Montreal, Canada: “It sings, it swings , it’s a little sweet candy. »

The other nine names

Nine other names were revealed by the festival team: Louis Slave Quintet (India), Yaron Herman, Lookin for Mingus + The Bad Plus ; Hiromi’s Sonicwonder, “the Japanese piano prodigy with breathtaking performances”; Ladaniva; Robinson Khoury; Airelle Besson & Lionel Suarez duo and Marion Rampal.

Ticket office open

With or without a subscription, tickets for these ten concerts are available from November 27, 2024 and this until Saturday February 15, 2025.

The subscription price (€21) allows you to benefit from tickets €6 less (except for Pink Martini).

Only half of the gauges of these 10 concerts are open for this Christmas pre-sale.

The entire program will be revealed Tuesday February 25, 2025.
