Since November 25, the Main Square Festival in Arras has revealed a new name for its 2025 program every day. It is an edition dedicated to electronic Music that the Arras event is concocting for us. We reveal the names to you:
DJ Snake signs for a third festival
He is a recurring name in the Main Square lineup, and one of the most famous DJs in France and around the world. He sets fire to every stage he walks on. After two appearances, in 2019 and 2022, the French DJ Snake will perform on Sunday July 6.
At the origin of the tubes Lean On, Disco Maghreb or even Taki Takihis video clips have millions of views online. His trademark on stage, “the wall of death“. The principle is simple, it separates the audience in two, creating a gaping gap in the pit, before everyone comes together for a generalized pogo.
Mika, the showman in French and English
He will also perform on Sunday July 6. The Lebanese, Mika, will bring his pop sounds to the citadel of Arras.
In French or English, Mika is a showman. He knew how to conquer the hearts of his listeners with hits like Relax, Take it Easy or She tells me. In 2023, it comes out May your head always blooma 100% French-speaking album, whose hits will be (re)discovered in Arras.
Rüfüs du Sol, their only festival in France
Winner of a Grammy Awards in 2022 for best recording Dance with their single AliveRüfus du Sol is an Australian group that has nothing left to prove across the Atlantic.
Less known to the European public, they intend to leave their mark on the minds of Arrageois by performing on Friday July 4.
The festival has no shortage of adjectives to describe their sounds. “Biggest electro live of the moment, indie influences and new album just released, this is the show that you will be shocked to discover“, they praise them. Especially since Main Square will be their only festival date in France this summer.
Martin Garrix, best DJ in the world
Another electro name, but not the least. Dutch DJ Martin Garrix is added to the lineup for Saturday July 5.
Multiple holder of the title of best DJ in the world by DJ Mag magazine, Martin Garrix repeats the feat by winning this title a fifth time in 2024. In his discography, we find global hits fromelectro house et d’EDM (Electro Dance Music) as Animals or even Scared to Be Lonely.
Julien Doré and his covers
He will bring a touch of sweetness to Arras during a performance on Saturday July 5. For his first time at the Main Square Festival, Julien Doré will defend his new album Impostor which compiles ever more surprising covers.
Ah les crocodiles, Me Lolita, Water Mint Color… The one who was discovered in a TV show in 2007 has come a long way, without forgetting his touch of humor which is his trademark.
