Ball, karaoke and shows for the first Audacious Experiences festival in the South Channel

As they did for the forty years of the association, in 2018, the Musique Expérience teams are creating an event to open the doors of the Ducey-Les Chéris cultural center (Manche). All the rooms of the premises on rue du Couvent will host events, workshops or exhibitions.

The Audacious Experiments evoke curiosity.

These “Daring Experiences”, the first festival of the South Channel association, aim to bring together multiple audiences: toddlers from the parent-child relay, children and adolescents from the leisure center and youth club, adults, artists… “They evoke curiosity,” notes Marie-Cécile Mariette, the festival coordinator.

Workshops will be offered to the general public on Friday, November 29, 2024, between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Saturday, November 30, 2024, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday will be reserved for schools and leisure centers.

Folk ball with the Manigale group

Friday November 29 at 8 p.m., the Norman group Manigale will host a traditional folk ball.

A marquee in the parking lot, next to Musique Expérience, will host an introduction to dance. “Trad has its codes,” agrees Marie-Cécile Mariette, “but we quickly get into sharing, without having technical dance skills.”

Stories and music with Step Mik

Saturday 30 at 10:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., Steph Mik, a duo from the group Olifan, will offer their musical and storytelling show, P’tit brin. It will take place outside, “another way of attending a show”. A proposal aimed at toddlers from one year old, in short format (40 minutes).

Theater and music with Cie M’O

Saturday at 2 p.m., it is in the expression room that children from 6 years old and adults have an appointment with the female duo of the company M’0. The little cabinet of curiosities tells stories, in music, for dreamers and poets.

Karaoke with Le Scuik

Saturday at 4 p.m., the five musicians of the group Le Scuik and their host will invite the public to draw from their repertoire of 240 songs, to perform with them. “You can reserve your ticket before November 27 at 02 33 48 19 44”.
