This year again Michel Bechameil, president of the Official Festival Committee and his entire team offer you a more than eclectic program for the 9th edition of the Music Festival.
From July 16 to August 4, the 2024 edition will offer you 6 evenings of jazz under the stars, organized in partnership with the city, the Avenir et Tradition association and the restaurant Les Etiquettes, in the Frédéric Mistral garden, entrance 3 placette M Trotobas.

We are birds
Three rare birds: a Finnish virtuoso, a
African adventurer and a committed rocker invite
a Swedish “vocal improviser”. The connection
is immediate, an airy, Nordic jazz, which

AM Ketenes Quartet
The band Am Ketenes, whose name means
“all together” in the gypsy language, has reached
to a repertoire of original compositions.
The original gypsy jazz now rubs shoulders
oriental, Spanish influences… This
musical itinerary, has led them, since 1999, on
major international stages (New York,
London, Stockholm, Montreal, Turin…) without
have many concerts in France. A rich and lively repertoire that inspires escape.

“Swing, women and
Brassens” Mary Estrade Quartet
In France, jazz has always been considered
as a specific musical form worthy
of the greatest interest, an art in its own right. In order
to produce quality shows, the company “Du
“Souffle aux Cordes” imposes a work rhythm
supported, rehearsals, personal work, but also
research, writing and strives to develop
a specific sound color. Mary Estrade,
founding member of the Company, does a job of
storyteller on shows (“storytelling”, “chatter”). These shows are concerts, journeys
musicals made of anecdotes, stories, poetry, humor.

“Summer time”
Louise O’sman Quartet
A poetic musical creation around the
suspended time, “hora sistere” or “summer time”,
this long time which allows us to reflect on ourselves,
to stop, to savor the passing of the hours and
moods. Then emerges in the immensity
sounds, the depth of words, the slow rumor
of a world that rises when evening falls
wait, thanks to an island or a story
which remains to be invented.

Holy Bounce Orchestra
Created in 2019, the Holy Bounce Orchestra will take you
skillfully discover the great era of
swing where jazz and dance are part of the culture
popular. From Duke Ellington to Count Basie in
passing through John Kirby or Benny Goodman, the
Holy Bounce Orchestra pays tribute to all
the Swing Era and its great composers in the
purest acoustic tradition and will bring you back
in the atmosphere of Harlem in the 30s and 40s.

Macadam Farmer
We know all these timeless hits by heart
and yet we rediscover them in a new way
day. Offbeat and inventive, Macadam Farmer gives
to the most famous artists (ACDC, Bee Gees, U2,
Cindy Lauper, Queen, Prince, Simples Minds etc…)
a flavor that smells of the bayous of Louisiana,
in the colors of the southern United States. Macadam
Farmer invites everyone to a pure moment
of friendliness, smile on the corner of the lips, the public
goes from surprise to surprise!
