After more than 80 years of presence on the Gisors scene, the choir “My Joy Sings” prepare a new concert to celebrate the arrival of summer. Always faithful at the Saint-Gervais-Saint-Protais church in Gisors (Eure), the choir will meet on Friday June 28, 2024 at 8 p.m. to enjoy their new performance.
The choir will perform operatic music with a religious bent. The arrangements will be provided by Pierre-Louis Egloff, accompanied by musicians Valérie Noble (pianist) and Christine Després (flutist) who will brighten up Rossini’s solemn little mass. The group hopes to do as well as its previous concert at the Gisors church: that of the New Year, which brought together 150 people.
Two days later, namely Sunday June 30, 2024, the choir will give a second concert this time in the church of Saint-Denis in Lyons-la-Forêt (Your), dès 16 hThis concert aims to support the renovation project of the religious building launched at the beginning of February.
Concert by the choir “Ma Joie Chante”, Friday June 28, 2024 at 8 p.m. at the Saint-Gervais-Saint-Protais church in Gisors and Sunday June 30, 2024 at 4 p.m. at the Saint-Denis church in Lyons-la-Forêt. Free participation.
