After the films and the series, the saga Les Boys will soon have a third life in the theater. Emmanuel Bilodeau, Louis Champagne and David Savard will headline the show bringing the legendary characters Stan, Méo and Bob back to life on stage next summer.

A whole new generation will be able to learn the basics of “toughness of mind” from June 2025 with this great return of the heroes of the franchise who left their mark on the history of Quebec cinema.

This Just for Laughs production will bring back the main lines of the original scenario, but in a new medium. In addition to the talents of Emmanuel Bilodeau, Louis Champagne and David Savard, the show will count on the presence of Benoit Drouin-Germain (Ti-Guy), Denis Houle (Fern), Didier Lucien (Boisvert), Mikhail Ahooja (Mario), Gabriel Sabourin (Jean-Charles), Thomas Derasp-Verge (Léopold) and Nicolas Pinson (Julien).

Marilou Morin will play the character of Sonia, while Marie-Pier Labrecque will play different female roles throughout the show.

More diversity

This new version, adapted by Guillaume Corbeil in collaboration with director Marc St-Martin, promises to update the premise to bring it to our times in addition to refining its humor.

“We want diversity, more communities represented and more women. For me it is very important. It’s also important not to kill the Boys’ DNA,” confides Sylvain Parent-Bédard, president and general manager of Juste pour laughs.

Undisputed successes, the five films of Boyslaunched between 1997 and 2013, attracted a total of nearly 3.9 million moviegoers and generated revenues of $22.1 million. The first opus had even prevented the film Titanic to seize first position at the Quebec box office upon its release. As for the TV series, it had an average audience of more than a million viewers during three of its five seasons on -.

The show Les Boys will be playing at the Théâtre du Vieux-Terrebonne from June 26 to July 13, 2025. A tour across the province will take off in January 2026.
