Tamayo Perry (TP), actor in the blockbuster “Pirates of the Caribbean – On Fountain of Youth”, tragically lost his life this Sunday, June 23, 2024.

The 49-year-old actor was attacked by a shark while surfing in the waters of Hawaii, off the coast of Oahu on Goat Island.

The fatal incident was reported by several English media, including Sky News which reported the facts.

“The incident was reported by a passerby who called emergency services and told them he saw a man suffering from what appeared to be shark bites,” informs the media.

Before adding: “Arriving at the scene of the tragedy, around 1 p.m. local time, the emergency services brought the body of Tamayo Perry to the shore using a jet ski, a few minutes before he was pronounced dead “.

Aside from his life as an actor, Tamayo Perry was also a surfer adored by the Hawaiian waves.

A death, mourned by Kurt Lager, head of ocean security in Honolulu. For him, TP was appreciated and known by everyone.

“Tamayo’s personality was contagious, and as much as people loved him, he loved others even more,” he cries.

If he was known to the general public through “Pirates of the Caribbean”, Tamayo also appeared in other films.
