The Chinese Cinema Festival in France has set up shop in Reunion Island for a week of screenings until June 29, 2024. This 10th edition will only be present at the Cinépalmes in Saint-Denis, with only one screening per day. This 10th edition of the Chinese Cinema Festival in France will take place in the following ten cities: Paris, Strasbourg, Dunkirk, Lyon, Cannes, Marseille, Salon de Provence, Alès, Brest and Réunion.

As for Reunion Island, 8 major films (10 in total on the national tour), all very recent, are to be discovered. Reunionese spectators will thus have the opportunity to be the first to discover some of the most important Chinese films of the season.

This selection is the perfect reflection of Chinese cinema today. It covers all film genres (action, science fiction, comedy, dramatic comedy, period film, animation, historical drama, etc.). Among these films are one of the two biggest box office hits to date in 2024, namely YOLO.
