Fall is Princess Diana’s season and here’s why.

We no longer present Lady Diana’s fashion CV. From the “revenge dress” to her many suits, she has left her mark on fashion history. Even today, his looks continue to be used and reinvented. She became, without any effort and without necessarily looking for it, a great fashion icon. And it is precisely her naturalness that has made her so popular in the eyes of the whole world.

Everyone now knows that fall is Lady Diana’s season. But how did she manage to become this season’s personality? She was simply not afraid to dare. From look to look, she showed that she was at the forefront of fashion, especially in fall!

Her outfits, although they date from the 80s and 90s, resurface every year and are worn by the biggest celebrities. This is the case of Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber who often copy the sport-chic aesthetic of which she is the precursor. In fact, she used to go out dressed in a sweater, cycling shorts and a pair of sneakers. It was one of the signature looks of the former Princess of Wales, which made a big impression.

But the People’s Princess, as former British Prime Minister Tony Blair nicknamed her, also sported more elegant looks, accompanied by a blazer – surely her favorite piece! Blazer with shoulders or classic: she liked to wear it with straight jeans. A casual chic look which has become, thanks to her, a classic! Perfect for all occasions, today it is an all-purpose outfit that allows you to go from work to an event without changing!

Lady Di paired the jeans with a chunky wool sweater. The most famous? A red sweater with white sheep patterns. Worn by the fashion icon in June 1981, around forty years later, it was sold at auction for more than a million dollars!

But it wasn’t the clothes that made Diana Spencer a historic fashion figure, it was the way she put them together. Indeed, Princess Diana wore many timeless pieces such as the cardigan, the turtleneck, the shirt, which she combined with mom jeans, or even a pencil skirt. One of her signature accessories, besides the baseball cap, was the pair of cowboy boots, which she paired with almost every look!

From one outfit to another, Lady Di proved that she has a true fall wardrobe. We would all like to have the same one!
