The Galerie Banque Populaire in Rabat opens its cultural season with the exhibition “When comes to residence”

The Galerie Banque Populaire in Rabat launched its new artistic season with the exhibition “When comes to residence”, open to the public until February 28, 2025. This exhibition is the culmination of the third edition of the artistic residency organized by the Fondation Banque Populaire. The opening, which took place on November 8, brought together numerous personalities from the world of art and economics, including Ms. Naziha Belkeziz, President and CEO of the BCP group, and Mr. Jalil Sebti, Managing Director of the Commercial Bank.

This summer, eight young talents from Moroccan art schools participated in a three-week residency at the Banque Populaire Holiday Center in Bouznika. Supervised by renowned professionals, they worked around the theme “The World of Tomorrow”, exploring varied subjects, from nostalgia and heritage to introspections on the human condition.

The works presented during the exhibition reveal a diversity of styles and reflections. Three artists stood out during the opening: Soufiane Nait Addi, Zouheir Chihad and Imane Laaribi, who respectively received rewards of 50,000 DH, 30,000 DH and 20,000 DH.

Through this initiative, the BCP group wants to reaffirm its commitment to art and culture in Morocco, offering young creators a privileged framework to express their talent and enrich the Moroccan artistic scene.
