One of the most renowned hairdressers in Quebec, Kevins-Kylewas recently passing through podcast Take a breakduring which he spoke transparently on various subjects.

During this episode where we learn more about him, the bubbly and human Kevins opened up about different aspects of his life, both personal and professional, including the moment he found the most difficult in his adventure at Loft Story.

The one who at the time did not accept his sexual orientation and who was “frust to be gay” says he had a difficult exit following his adventure.

“I come out full of confidence, telling myself (…) it’s beautiful I’m ready to tell everyone (…). I’m going out, the team production me pogne, I walk into an office, I see my mother in the distance and I can’t go talk to her. There, it’s a little traumatic (…) They tell me: Kev, you can’t talk to journalists until we explain, we don’t want the world to know you’re gay, you can’t say it! (…) It didn’t happen because they said: The Quebec public is not ready! (…) To protect me (…), they even told me: We’ll monetize it, if it comes out (…). I got paid a lot of money to do this cover-there, by my admission (…)”, he revealed.

He then said that it was a very difficult time for his family, much to his sadness.

He explains that his mother was harassed, that people knocked on her door for radio and television interviews and that she is a very shy and reserved woman, “not in that world pantse”. Obviously, she didn’t like this attention at all.

The podcast host then returned to the event that happened upon his release and asked THE question we’re all asking… how much was he paid, anyway?

“I had just won $10,000 on TV and they paid me a little over $10,000 for my cover (…). We were making promos club that brought in good money and I ended up with $50,000 in my account in the time it took me to say it, I was going crazy,” he revealed, happy to have been able to raise a good amount in so not much time.
