Investigation teams were still present Wednesday morning on Marcotte Road, in Disraeli.

An 18-year-old boy died Tuesday evening in Disraeli, in Chaudière-Appalaches.
Around 6:30 p.m., emergency services were called to a seriously injured individual on Marcotte Road. A security perimeter is still in place Wednesday morning.
The victim was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) has not confirmed that gunshots were heard on Chemin Marcotte, but indicates that signs of violence were visible on the victim. Unfortunately, it is still too early to say anything about the murder weapon.

The young man was known to the police. Officers from the Crimes Against the Person Investigation Department are in charge of the investigation. The Criminal Investigation Department also visited the scene.
At the moment there is also no confirmation that this is a murder.
The investigation is ongoing.
