Guests on the set of “Quelle époque”, on France 2 on June 15, the two actors told an unusual and intimate anecdote to Léa Salamé.

On June 15, Laurence Arné and Dany Boon were Léa Salamé’s guests on the set of “Quelle époque” on France 2. The opportunity for the couple to promote the film The Hennedricks Family (in theaters June 26), in which they share the poster, but also to confide in their life as parents of a blended family.

“For two years there was a romance”

And for good reason, as a couple since 2018, the couple are at the head of a large and blended family with 6 children. The star actor of Welcome to the Ch’tis having had five children (four boys and a girl) from her previous relationships, while Laurence Arné is the mother of Raphaël, a boy of 12 years old today.

Asked about the understanding between the different children at the time of their meeting, the couple shared a rather unusual anecdote. “We were lucky, it went pretty well,” began the woman who is also the director of The Hennedricks Family. And continues: “Our two youngest fell in love. So, for two years, there was a romance. A situation confirmed by Danny Boon: “It was more complicated. We were super anxious,” he admitted.

“Can we sleep together? »

And for good reason, the couple had to face the destabilizing demands of Raphaël and Sarah, the daughter of Dany Boon and Yaël Harris, now 14 years old. “Can we sleep in the same room?”, “can we shower together?”, the couple remembered, laughing, still specifying that their children were “very small” at the time. A two-year romance, now over. “I had to manage the separation because it was harder for my son than for his daughter,” however, underlined Laurence Arné.
