A former teacher appeared this Monday before the 15th chamber of the Paris criminal court for sexual assault and assault on nine former students.
A teacher in a CM2 class at the Félix-Faure elementary school, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris in the 1990s, the man was sentenced to ten months in prison for attacks committed against three of them.

“Other behaviors that raise questions”
Although prescribed, the facts push investigators from the minor protection brigade (BPM) of the judicial police to open an investigation which will identify other victims who will report inappropriate or reprehensible behavior such as taking photos of children in the shower during school trips in particular and “other behavior which raises questions”, will underline the president of the court.
If the accused admitted to having kissed the students on the cheek, he denies, however, “malicious” or sexual acts. “Kissing a 10-year-old child on the mouth is sexual assault,” retorted the lawyer for the civil parties, Me Florence Loty-Porzier.
In addition to the suspended prison sentence, Christophe K. was given a permanent ban on engaging in any activity involving regular contact with minors.
