The association, which aims to bring together the cultures of the Mediterranean, presents a dinner show on world dances and an oriental evening.

On June 29 at 8:30 p.m., the Les Ghayssana association is organizing a big evening in the performance hall. “Immerse yourself in a night of magic with an oriental dinner, a unique dance show and an oriental musical group” announces Oujda Kherchiche, president of Ghayssana. This evening will be associated with culinary and artistic arts. It begins with a traditional oriental meal (starter, main course, dessert) while discovering oriental, Sevillian, flamenco, contemporary, modern jazz, hip-hop, and music hall dances and folklore. Several schools and associations will perform on stage: La Fabrique, Yassine Halawa, Arte del Alma, Raks el Rouh, Dansencor, Juliette Garcia, Perine Grampp. At 10 p.m., the dancing evening will begin with Rai, Chaabi, Chaoui, Staifi and Kabyle rhythms, hosted by a group composed of Cheb Fifa, Cheb Ghanou, Sid Ali and Hakim.”

The Ghayssana strive to promote cultural diversity, share moments of joy and conviviality, and discover dances from around the world. This evening is a unique opportunity to escape and connect through art and music” adds Oujda Kherchiche.

The association was created by Shéhérazade Kherchiche and Philippe Levasseur. Its aim is to raise awareness of the cultures of the Maghreb and the Middle East and to establish bridges between the peoples of the two Mediterranean countries, in a spirit of fraternity.
