Five brands to follow closely

The Spring/Summer 2024 edition of Istanbul Modest Fashion Week (IMFW 24) took place from April 25 to 27 in Fişekhane, a historic venue in Istanbul, the Turkish capital. During his fashion show held on Thursday, April 25, Nazir presented his latest collection “Whispers of Lahore”, inspired by the architectural beauty of the Pakistani city of Lahore. The most romantic will be seduced by the elegance and modernity of the silk and delicate embroidery.

The seven-piece collection includes a Hanley dress, a ruffled dress, a kimono, a two-piece set, beach towels and sarongs, and a one-piece swimsuit with matching turban, referencing the early days of the brand as a swimwear brand and announcing the imminent arrival of sunny days. During an exclusive fashion show held on Friday, April 26, the brand presented different lines and styles, including long, loose dresses for everyday wear, tight-fitting satin evening dresses and some more daring designs.

The label created the new E-Studio “1972 Conscious” line, eco-friendly, sustainable, luxurious and vegan, to offer environmentally conscious consumers products that respect traditional art forms. “We wanted to show how ancestral art can be translated into a modern and bold design that fits perfectly with current trends,” Momtaz said of this sustainable luxury line.

The label has set itself the objective of manufacturing all its products from recycled or other materials of sustainable origin by 2035; 45% of the materials used are already sustainable. “We use sustainable cotton, linen and silk yarns, as well as scraps from clothing factories for waste-free work.
