He took on a new challenge. The French YouTuber Inoxtag, who recently distinguished himself by his ascent of Everest, will publish his first manga on November 21, the Webedia agency and the publisher Michel Lafon announced in a press release on Saturday.

The same day, the YouTuber published a video revealing the release of “Instinct”, co-written with Basile Monnot and Charles Compain, and illustrated by Charles Compain.

“The manga follows the story of Haki, a 19-year-old young man with the ability to perceive the aura and intentions of the people around him,” the publisher and the agency said in the press release.

Inoxtag, whose real name is Inès Benazzouz, became known on YouTube, where he published content on video games since 2015.

He regularly refers to his passion for the world of manga, notably wearing a straw hat, a reference to the character Luffy from the “One Piece” saga.

In mid-September, his documentary “Kaizen”, retracing his ascent of Everest, was a spectacular success. Screened during a single screening at the cinema, it attracted more than 300,000 spectators in theaters, and has since accumulated nearly 38 million views on YouTube.
