After a period of turbulence, the actress Lucie Roth has just been appointed, at the age of 28, artistic director of the Théâtre du Pavé.

Since the start of the year, the Théâtre du Pavé has been going through a complicated situation. Its director Francis Azéma was the subject of accusations of sexual assault and a complaint dating from 2021. At the beginning of January, the collective Les Louves entered the room where he was playing “Plus Fear of the wolf” to denounce his behavior. Faced with these serious accusations, the actor and director decided to put an end to the functions of director of Le Pavé which he had held since 2021 to “ensure his defense”.
