Friday, November 8 at 8:30 p.m., at the Carmes cultural center in Langon (Gironde), the Compagnie le Berger des Sons will present the musical show “The Butterfly Effect”.

It’s the dream tripAlain Larribetcomposer, multi-instrumentalist and singer (he collaborates with Murray Head, Yannick Jaulin and the OPPB). Last season, he won over the Langon public at Les Carmes with “Le Berger des sons”.

In this new show, he explores the back of a butterfly “the earth and the beings who populate it by capturing the finesse of the infinitely large and the infinitely small”.

Like a short film

“Each theme of this project is like a short filmexplains the Company: a panoramic vision of a field of cereals where the wind makes the grasses dance, a close-up of the moving blades, a dive between the houses of a “rustling” city which lands on the counter of ‘a bakery, the river which flows into the ocean where fishermen brave the waves, the view offshore of a piece of cracking ice floe and plunges into a terrible crash, the caress of water on the sand and that of the mother to her child who joins a group sitting under a large tree listening to an old man. Which tells how the world was born and on whose shoulder a butterfly lands. »

Accompanied by seven musiciansd’a singer and a clamorAlain Larribet invites spectators “to delve into the beauty of the world, into what connects men to the earth. »

From 7 p.m., there will be a Before in the hall from the Carmes cultural center, a stage edge after the show and musical discovery workshops.
