After another complicated season for Pau Lopez and OM, the club seems to want to turn the page for good and sell its goalkeeper this summer. A departure which is looming but which will not be easy to implement due to the player’s salary, despite requests from several Italian clubs.

The deal could be done in the form of a loan with an option to buy. OM asks for 8 million euros according to the Italian journalist, while Como presented a loan offer with a lower amount.

OM wants €8M, a loan with OA?

Pau Lopez’s 2023-2024 season may have been his last loon. After finishing 8th in the championship and semi-finalist in the Europa League, the Spanish goalkeeper would be on the departure and several Italian clubs are reportedly monitoring the situation closely. A departure, however, which risks taking time temps and which will have to go through long negotiations.

A salary that causes problems?

If some clubs like Como or Monza have shown recent interest, the player’s salary remains to be seen.
