Charles Spencer: war is declared between the women in his life

Love lasts 13 years, and then there’s war? Last June, when publicly announcing his divorce – the third – with Karen, Charles Spencer regretted an “incredibly sad” situation and assured that he wished “all the happiness possible for the future” to his future ex-wife. Four months later, everything suggests that it is not exactly the same for the count’s new alleged companion, the Norwegian bio-archaeologist Cat Jarman.

According to information from the British magazine HelloThursday October 10, 2024 Cat has indeed filed a complaint against Karen Spencer for “abusive use of private information”. No other details have yet leaked as to the reasons for this astonishing legal action by the Norwegian specialist of the Viking era. “In this case, Cat will be represented by the law firm Simons Muirhead Burton, while Karen will ensure her defense alone,” specifies only Hello. If Count Spencer and the archaeologist have never confirmed having a romantic relationship, they recently admitted to Times be “close. Close enough”.

How did the last two women in Count Spencer’s life get to this point? At the end of the summer of 2024, the Canadian-born Karen – her maiden name Karen Villeneuve – confirmed on social networks that she was preparing to leave Althorp, the estate where in June 2011 she married the little brother of Lady Diana. An express wedding organized following love at first sight, less than a year after their meeting thanks to a blind date in a restaurant in Los Angeles. The following year, Charles and Karen welcomed little Charlotte Diana, now 12 years old. If she does not elaborate on the reasons for the breakup, Karen specifies in her publication that she will not leave Althorp alone: her two beloved sheep, Lucky and Minty, will follow her in the rest of her adventures.
