It’s not easy when you’re 17 like Maxime Dreux, Noé Colboc or 18 like Julien Lemattre to convince certain people the seriousness of his project. And yet, these three high school students from Le Havre (Seine-Maritime) are working hard on a 200-page book project which they will present next June.
The theme: Renault: A French art.
“Passionate about photos and cars”
In Terminale Bac Pro photography at Saint-Vincent-de-Paul high school, high school students must submit a project in June. “We are not at all obliged to go as far as a book but we really wanted to do it,” explains Maxime, interviewed by 76actu.
They all have in common their passion for photo obviously and also “for the cars. Don’t ask me why… No one in our family works at Renault or has a passion for this brand, but we are fans.
And so, the three decided that their project would be “to make a book about Renault, the most emblematic cars and also Alpine and Gordini”.
A unique work
“We have read a lot about Renault but we have never seen books like the one we are going to offer. Maybe it’s simply because it takes a lot of time,” smiles Maxime.
After classes, during the weekend, the three authors and photographers devote themselves to this book.
The project is already well advanced. We started the layout not too long ago, we have already taken several photos of emblematic vehicles, everything will be ready for June.
The call of the three high school students
On one condition… “We are looking for owners of standard Renaults (Megane, Clio, Espace, Twingo, Scénic, etc.) as well as emblematic models of the Alpine or Renault brand, to carry out photo shoots in the Le Havre/Rouen sector. , whose images will be used to present the cars in our book and on Instagram,” explains Maxime.
The three high school students are also looking for “places to organize these shootings (houses, castles, etc.). The places where the photos will be taken will be mentioned in our book. »
Because they are young, “sometimes people have difficulty completing the process. We know that these cars may be expensive, we understand the reluctance but we are very serious.”
