Vou will not find any leading interlocutor in Brussels from the ranks of the MR, the PS or the Engagés who will confirm to you loud and clear that there was a secret plan aimed at raising these three parties into a maximum of municipal majorities in order to obtain a “mirror effect” with the expected coalition at the regional level. “There was no slogan,” even swears David Leisterh, leader of the liberals, new mayor of Watermael-Boitsfort and very likely future minister-president of Brussels. Moreover, the same Leisterh chose to join Ecolo in his commune.
