GASTRONOMIC REVIEW – At the Vicomtesse de Noailles or at the Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild, in western , two very different gastronomic ambitions.

An autumn with great pomp. Two restaurants have just opened in palaces rich in history. The first, supervised by the bulimic Alain Ducasse (more than 20 stars around the world), where the Viscountess Marie-Laure de Noailles lived. The second, last address of the Paris Society group (Maxim’s, Laurent, Perruche, Monsieur Bleu, etc.) in the former private palace of Salomon de Rothschild and his widow, “Baroness Adèle”. Each is located equidistant from the Star. Polished shoes and ironed shirt, The Figaro got dressed up to tell you two ways to accommodate the mansion.

At Ducasse Baccarat, Christophe Saintagne (long-time emulator of the master) and Robin Schroeder do the cooking. Ducasse lends its label name, its international aura, its know-how; the boring “storytelling” served to the guests at the curtain-raiser is piously dedicated to him, amen.

Christophe Saintagne, Robin Schroeder et Alain Ducasse.
