The fall fair returns this Sunday
The autumn fair is an unmissable event in Poix-de-Picardie. The 2024 edition takes place this weekend, Sunday October 13, in the town center, village hall and Place de la République.
On the program, a Boulonnais horse competition will be organized by the breeders’ association. Also worth seeing is an exhibition of farm animals (ponies, poultry, draft horses, etc.) presented by around thirty professionals. Add to this various exhibitors who will offer clothing, local products, flowers, fruits and vegetables…
This same Sunday, a garage sale will take place on the site while the association forum will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the village hall. The opportunity to meet different municipal, sporting, cultural and other structures. All day long, fairground attractions will delight the youngest. Finally, so as not to leave on an empty stomach, there will be a special “fair” menu offered by local restaurateurs, as well as pancakes and drinks with the seniors’ club.
Also on Sunday October 13, a Lego exhibition hosted by two enthusiasts, Enzo Mannié (see article above) and Jean-François Lapierre, will be available to discover in the village hall. You will be able to admire several creations including the Eiffel Tower, the Titanic but also an entire city or even a network of trains, or even cars.
