While racing on the 2nd stage of the Morocco Rally on October 8, Jean-Loup Lepan, driver from the Somme, had a spectacular fall. It is placed in resuscitation at the Casablanca hospital, in Morocco, informed his father to France Bleu Picardie.
A former pilot himself, Frédéric Lepan indicates that his son suffers from a pneumothorax and multiple fractures. He is currently on his way there.
The day before, an accident on the first stage had already caused one victim. French pilot Frédéric Baudry died after falling in the dunes. The competition ends this Friday.
