Motorcyclist Jean-Loup Lepan, 26, from Embreville in the Somme, was the victim of a fall at kilometer 145 of the second stage of the Rallye du Maroc this Tuesday. The biker’s father went to Casablanca during the night. Jean-Loup Lepan, entered with the Duust team, has already completed three Dakars (from 2022 to 2024). But this Morocco Rally is marked by strong storms which forced the route of the first two stages to be modified. On Monday, another pilot, Frédéric Baudry, died at the age of 47. He was the victim of a big fall in the dunes. His team, Nomade Racing, confided his immense emotion on his Facebook account: “ Our most sincere thoughts go first to his wife and children.
