As reported by the media ColliderFrench director Louis Leterrier, already at the helm of Fast Xconfided during the Comic Con Experience in Mexico this weekend that the feature film originally announced for April 2025 would not be released until summer 2026. The start of filming is planned for this fall.

Return of Dwayne Johnson

Despite a falling out with Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, who made a brief appearance as Hobbs in Fast Xrevealed last year that he would be at the center of this eleventh part.
