Rapper Diddy accused of sexual assault by 120 victims, says lawyer representing them

Some 120 victims accuse rapper and music producer Sean Combs, known as Diddy or Puff Daddy, of sexual assault, lawyer Tony Buzbee announced Tuesday, October 1, who represents them collectively and will sue the American rapper in court.

“This is an important matter that we intend to pursue aggressively”explained this Texas-based lawyer in a press release, asking for help from the world of music and entertainment. “If you have been a victim or witness to this scandalous behavior, I ask you to please come forward. »

According to the AP news agency, Mr. Buzbee said he represented 60 men and 60 women, and that 25 of the victims were minors at the time of the charges against the rapper.

The 54-year-old artist has been the target of multiple complaints of sexual assault for several months. Last week he was arrested in New York and remanded in custody. The federal prosecutor’s office in Manhattan accuses him of having « empire » musical in the service of a violent sex trafficking system.

The revelations concerning him were triggered by a complaint from his ex-partner, the singer Cassie. Since then, many victims have come forward. They described the artist as a violent sexual predator, who used alcohol and drugs to obtain their submission. The rapper denies these accusations.

Known by the nicknames Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, or Diddy, he has established himself as a figure in East Coast hip-hop, on the microphone or on production. He has accumulated immense wealth over the decades, also thanks to his activities in the alcohol industry.
