He returns every year in May. The Spring of Ships, 2024 edition, will launch its season Saturday May 4 for a period of almost four weeks.

On the program of free concerts and free access, mixing genres to discover artists from here and elsewhere.

Saturday May 4

For the launch of Printemps des Nefs, afrobeat will be in the spotlight. In the first part of the evening, it is Ireke, straight from La Roche-sur-Yon, who will take the stage.

The Smith Brothers, arrived from Paris, will take over with a repertoire full of groove and trance.

Friday May 17

For this second evening, the Voyage à Nantes has planned a battle. On stage, the groups Jo Dahan and the Gonzo Club, And Calle Mambo will clash.

Everyone will play a piece and the public will choose the winner by standing ovations. Monsieur Loyal will be responsible for announcing the winner.

Saturday May 18

In the first part of the evening, the people of Nantes Calyps’Atlantic will offer a trip to the Caribbean to the sound of barrels from Trinidad and Tobago.

It is Anthony Joseph who will host the second part of the evening. He will present his poetic jazz, conceived as a political fight, inspired by figures like Toussaint Louverture.

Friday May 24

Korea will come to Nantes on Friday May 24. On the punk rock program with the trio Sailor Honeymoon, followed by a DJ set Livigesh mixing hip-hop and funk.

Saturday May 25

As part of the Korean Spring festival, the artist Lee Hee-Moon, precursor of K-pop will share his music mixing pop, dance and rock.

Then, the Franco-Korean duo Uju and the trio Gongsang Myeongwol will share the stage with the melodies of gugak, traditional Korean music.

Evening from 8:30 p.m. Lee Hee-Moon, at 9 p.m. Uju & Gongsang Myeongwol, at 10:30 p.m.

Thursday May 30

To close the 2024 edition of Printemps des Nefs, the group Sarab will perform his works combining jazz, rock and oriental music.

Finally, the group’s contemporary and urban music Mazalda will resonate under the naves, recalling the atmosphere of haunted nightclubs and cabarets.

From 8:30 p.m. Sarab, at 9 p.m. Mazalda, at 10:30 p.m.
