30 years after the release of the cult film Hate of Mathieu Kassovitzfind Vinz, Said And Hubert in an innovative adaptation between theater and cinema, rap and dance!

Symbol of a generation, a great classic of French cinema, revealed and rewarded at the 1995 Cannes Film Festival, then by 3 prizes including that of best film at the Césars, Mathieu Kassovitz’s La haine is back on the Seine Musicale stage today from October 10, 2024 then on tour throughout France !

On May 31, 1995, Mathieu Kassovitz brought the suburbs to the screen for the first time. A film carried by 3 actors (Vinz, Said and Hubert) still unknown to the battalion.

The story of these 3 young people confronted with economic, social and political difficulties, the condition of women and which in parallel with its codes, is an ode to love, solidarity and friendship. Praised by critics, including internationally, arousing the admiration of personalities such as Steven Spielberg who says he “loves the movie.”

In 2024, Kassovitz stands out with a lively and immersive creation. The director revisits the story of his cult film by adapting it for the stage and underlines the eminently current nature of the film.

Alexander Ferrario, Samy Belkessa And Alivorthree young actors, take on the roles played at the time by Vincent Cassel, Said Taghmaoui And Hubert Kounde.

A project rooted in current events and whose innovative form aims to immerse the spectator in a “ride” through Paris and its suburbs thanks to a unique device creating a dialogue between the stage and the screen: 14 tableaux inspired by the film, redesigned by Mathieu Kassovitzwill be broadcast using a projection system coupled with the sets and especially with the performance of the actors on stage.

This show therefore mixes dance, cinema, rap, theatre and live performance in an augmented form, resolutely modern and unique, carried by an original soundtrack which also makes the link between the 90s and today:
