New community pharmacy salaries as of November 1, 2024

In application of the agreement of November 18, 2024 relating to minimum wages (pending publication in the Official Journal), below is the news salary scale as of November 1, 2024 and in 2025 of the national collective agreement for community pharmacy of December 3, 1997 – extended by decree of August 13, 1998 (JO Brochure No. 3052 – IDCC 1996).

It was decided to increase the value of the point by 1.8% which is now set at 5.158 euros as of November 1, 2024. A review clause was also decided, providing for a resumption of negotiations on the value of the point before the end of February 2025.

The new salary scale takes effect immediately for pharmacies whose registrant is a member of the FSPF or USPO. Non-member pharmacies can choose to adopt it voluntarily or wait for its generalization to all pharmacies after its publication in the Official Journal.

The conventional salary scale 2024 allows us to answer the following questions:

• What is the average pharmacy salary?

These are the guaranteed minimum gross wages for a working period of 35 hours per week (in euros) or 151.67 hours per month depending on your coefficient.

Scale and minimum salary for community pharmacy in 2024

Like the SMIC, it is essential to emphasize that conventional salaries serve as a minimum base. Thus, companies have the freedom to adapt the remuneration and benefits granted to their employees according to their financial resources and their economic prospects.

Allowance for equipment costs 2025

The amount of the annual fixed compensation for equipment costs is set at 90 euros as of January 1, 2025.

Seniority bonuses

Seniority bonuses are added to the base salary according to the following percentages:

• From 3 to 6 years old : 3 %,
• From 6 to 9 years old : 6 %,
• From 9 to 12 years old : 9 %,
• From 12 to 15 years old : 12 %,
• After 15 years : 15 %.

Date and duration of application of the agreement

The agreement is applicable from November 1, 2024 for an indefinite period.

Notice of extension of the salary agreement from the Ministry of Labor

The extension order from the Ministry of Labor is awaiting publication in the Official Journal (in January or February 2025).
