Following the second broadcast of Bye Byethe director, screenwriter and actor Simon-Olivier Fecteau spoke on social networks, mainly addressing a criticism that was addressed to him several times in the last two days.

The word, however, has taken a rather pejorative turn in recent years, now insinuating that wokes are undermining certain essential values, such as freedom of expression.
So, does the Bye Bye was “woke”? Maybe not. We were also treated to several rather grating sketches. Obviously, this is all a question of perceptions.
