The Caribbean screening days run until June 30, 2024.

Since yesterday and until June 30, Caribbean Testing Days are taking place to promote HIV testing and slow the epidemic in the Caribbean region.

Those involved in the fight against HIV and sexually transmitted infections are offering a series of free and accessible screenings from June 24 to 30.

Guyana on the Front Line

Guyana, the French department most affected by the pandemic with nearly 4,000 people living with HIV, has participated in this event since 2010.

Corevih Guyana recalls the importance of this annual commitment to raise awareness and test the population.

* HIV, HBV, HCV and syphilis screening, information and games stand, marauding by the French Red Cross, Aides, Ceggid du Chog and the Kikiwi network, at the Makandra center in Mana,
from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
* HIV, HBV and HCV screening by Ader, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the vegetable market in
Sinnamary.
* HIV screening by ID Santé, at Caz’ID in Saint-Georges, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
* Presentation of the Don’t punish campaign, by Agrrr, at 32 bis, rue du Lieutenant-Becker in
Cayenne from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
