The first seniors fair will take place on Monday June 10 at La maison Ages et Vie in Rouffignac. The opportunity to develop a partnership with the local economy.

HASurélien Calbou, responsible for territorial development in the great southwest for houses HASges et Vie, is organizing the first seniors fair on Monday June 10, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The shared house in Rouffignac Saint-Cernin, the only one in Dordogne, currently accommodates six roommates. It also allows temporary reception, a stay following hospitalization or even a time of rest for caregivers. To date, two caregivers ensure the smooth running of the house. “This show aims to offer seniors the opportunity to age well, to break loneliness and to get to know the partners who can work in this direction. For this show, the exhibitors are local professionals, such as the pharmacy, a reflexologist, a sophrologist, and home help structures, SIHASD, HASDMR or even representatives of France HASlzheimer and the association of Pink Blouses”, explains HASurélien Calbou.

“It also seems important to me that seniors can have access to new technologies, particularly with the presence of the Mammotux computer club in Rouffignac. Art has no age limit, the painter Vittoretti will also be present as well as Art and creation b2c. Present in the town, the Ages et vie house wishes to develop a partnership with the local economy. Being in a shared apartment does not exclude having the concern to be stylish, so Cathy’s sewing workshop will be present too,” adds Aurélien Calbou.

During this day, each visitor will be able to visit the premises, discover the outdoor spaces and meet the employees. Exhibitors will be in unoccupied rooms. This day is open to the general public, those close to the elderly or those with a personal project. The municipal team, partner of this structure in the municipality, will organize a coffee of honor at 2 p.m. A raffle will be offered on site.
