For three years, the municipality of Janville-en-Beauce and its “Festivals and Ceremonies” commission have been honoring the month of October, by decorating the entire town with pink ribbons, and by organizing a pink march from 4 to 6 km dedicated to raising awareness and the fight against breast cancer, and the importance of early detection.

180 participants

Saturday, under a beautiful sun, 180 walkers, adults and children, made donations totaling €1,310, which were given, in the form of a check, to Claude Eschmann, president of the League Against Cancer 28.

This sum represents around fifty free wellness sessions which will help patients in the department to better cope with the effects of the disease and its treatments.

The town hall of Janville-en-Beauce thanked each walker for their participation in this event which, year after year, grows in size in the new town.

Were also thanked the company Roy Énergie de Toury for the donation of 80 caps, the Crédit agricole de Janville for its subsidy intended for the making of t-shirts, the company Artenay bars for the cereal bars, as well as the committee of the Janville-en-Beauce festivals for the loan of its barnums.
