On February 18, the O2 Arena in London will host a highly anticipated event. The team liveries will be revealed that day, and no team will be able to reveal details before then. After the event, however, they will have complete freedom to communicate. Ferrari has already announced that it will present its complete car the next day, February 19.
According to information revealed by the Italian media AutoRacerFerrari has already given indications on its future livery.
Indeed, it seems that the Ferrari single-seater will sport a more intense red than in the last two seasons, but different from the “Rosso Mugello” red used on the SF1000 to celebrate the team's 1000 Grands Prix. Furthermore, the general style of the livery would be particularly bold this year.
According to AutoRacerthe constraints linked to weight reduction and ballast would no longer limit the creativity of designers as much. This means that the car should have less visible carbon, offering a more refined visual appearance.
Maranello en effervescence
A new chapter opens for Ferrari with the departure of Carlos Sainz and the arrival of Lewis Hamilton. The latter, alongside his new teammate Charles Leclerc, is expected in Maranello between January 10 and 12, still according to AutoRacer.
The two drivers will resume their activities at the factory, starting with the molding of their seats. They will also spend several hours in the simulator, recently updated with data from the new car. These simulator tests will be followed by full-scale tests, first on the Fiorano circuit, then during winter tests in Bahrain.
