SRO licensed championship, the GT4 Winter Series will launch its second season in a few weeks, on the Portuguese circuit of Estoril. After a successful first year, the 2025 edition will once again bring together teams and drivers from all over Europe to compete.

The GT4 Winter Series offers a multitude of categories for different types of cars and drivers. The PRO, PRO-AM and AM categories are aimed at pilots according to their license level. As for the Cayman Trophy, it is specially designed for the Porsche Cayman GT4 CS.

The Club category, created especially for old GT4 models whose homologation has expired, is new. This structure allows both modern and more dated cars to participate in the same championship in a competitive framework.

Among the participants are renowned European teams. SR Motorsport will enter four cars in different categories while there are other well-known German outfits such as Mücke Motorsport, FK Performance and W&S Motorsport.

British teams, such as SVG Motorsport and Century Motorsport, contribute to the international diversity of the championship, for which we expect a field made up of 20 to 30 cars each weekend.

The championship consists of five weekends, during which three races take place each time: two 30-minute sprints and a one-hour main race with a compulsory pit stop. The kick-off will be given the weekend of January 16 to 19 in Portugal, on the Estoril circuit, before a meeting scheduled for January 23 to 26 at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve, in Portimão.

From February 13 to 16, the competition will stop in Spain, at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia, before going to Motorland Aragón from February 27 to March 2. The championship final will take place from March 6 to 9 at the Barcelona-Catalunya circuit.

Logistical and technical support is provided by experienced partners. Teams fielding Porsche Caymans can count on Manthey Racing, while those running Mercedes-AMGs and BMWs will benefit from support trucks from HWA and BMW M structures.

On site, the public can attend the events free of charge, with the exception of the Barcelona meeting which requires a fee. The races will be broadcast live on the official YouTube channel, with streaming provided by Alpha Live.
