Anderlecht excludes him from the group: he will not go to Beerschot

This Thursday, Anderlecht will travel to Beerschot in the quarter-finals of the Belgian Cup.

A meeting which could have been the last for a Brussels player but which ultimately will not be. The Last Hour tells us in fact that Zanka no longer trains with the group and that he must be content with solo sessions to keep in shape before leaving.

End of the adventure

Having never convinced since his arrival last summer, the Dane is increasingly close to the Los Angeles Galaxy, who should offer him an interesting way out in a club which won the Major League title, continuing to widen the gap on DC United.

For David Hubert, there will therefore be one less defender for the trip to Beerschot. If we add to this the injury to Jan Vertonghen, there is once again a problem for the coach, who will have to count on Olivier Renard to bring him reinforcements during the month of January.

Lack of solutions

For the moment, things have not yet changed in this area and with the departure of Zanka, this will have to be the case quickly in order to offer solutions. Because after Beerschot there is a topper arriving on Sunday then trips to Kortrijk and Viktorian Plzen in the Europa League. Mechelen and Hoffenheim will follow to conclude a fairly busy month of January for Anderlecht.
