The announcement was made at the end of the day. Chloe Chambers, a young 20-year-old American driver, will continue her adventure in F1 Academy for a second season. Indeed, she will be associated with the Red Bull Racing team replacing Emely De Heus whose cycle in F1 Academy is coming to an end since she will have driven there for two seasons. This signing also strengthens the partnership between Red Bull and Ford Performance. Thus, Chloe Chambers will join the Red Bull Ford Academy program, and will therefore still wear American colors in 2025.

Mark Rushbrook, Managing Director of Ford Performance

It’s a pleasure to welcome Chloe to the Ford family as she joins the Red Bull Ford Academy program. Not only is she a talented driver, but she also has the ability to adapt to different championships. (…) Having an American driver representing an iconic American brand is the perfect scenario for us, and we can’t wait to see everything 2025 has in store. This partnership is also part of a much wider relationship we now have with Red Bull across many racing series and our partnership is going from strength to strength.

To illustrate this three-pronged partnership between Chloe Chambers, Red Bull, and Ford, the American driver will, starting this weekend, be behind the wheel of a Ford Mustang Dark Horse R as part of the Mustang Challenge organized by IMSA.

Chloe Chambers

I am excited to drive for the Red Bull Ford Academy program starting in 2025. As an American driver, it is an honor to be part of an American company as iconic as Ford. It is a privilege to be able to partner with the Red Bull Ford Academy program, and to be able to continue to improve the representation of women in the sport. (…) I am even more excited to take part in the Ford Mustang Challenge this week and to have more opportunities to race outside of my role within the F1 Academy. For the rest of the year, I am still focused on my performances with Haas, but I am looking forward to this next chapter in 2025 with the Red Bull Ford Academy program.

A logical signing for Red Bull and Ford who are banking on a driver capable of good results. In 2023, for example, she became the first woman to take a pole position and win a race in the Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceania Championship, a winter competition which, that year, saw Charlie Wurz (son of Alexander Wurz, former driver Formula 1) won the title. This year, Chloe Chambers has three podiums including a victory in Barcelona, and only one finish outside the top 10. With the departure of certain drivers at the end of the season, the American driver could well position herself in the title race .

Christian Horner, PDG et Team Principal d’Oracle Red Bull Racing

(…) The whole team looks forward to welcoming Chloe to the Red Bull family, where she will be a key part of our team for the 2025 F1 Academy season. Welcoming an American driver who has previously been linked to Ford marks an exciting progression in our partnership with Ford Performance. Red Bull and Ford share common values and are united in providing more opportunities for young, emerging talents in motorsport, and we look forward to seeing Chloe take to the track in Red Bull Ford colors in 2025.
