The rumors are true: the hottest reunion tour of 2025 will take place in Toronto. Oasis will play at the brand new Rogers Stadium on August 24, 2025.
Last week, rumors about Reddit and a magazine article NME citing “sources close to the tour” indicated that Toronto would be one of 13 international cities where Oasis would play as part of the tour Oasis Live ’25. Today (September 30), tour promoter Live Nation confirmed the news.
The North American tour, produced by Live Nation and SJM, will also have Oasis playing stadiums in Chicago, East Rutherford, Los Angeles and Mexico City, with rock band Cage The Elephant opening for each date.
Oasis last played in North America 16 years ago.

Over the weekend, billboards popped up in Toronto and other cities to spread the word. “Be careful what you wish for,” read the square’s billboard. Yonge-Dundasaccompanied by the words “Monday, 8 p.m. (EST)” and the official website oasisinet.com of the British group.
Oasis is the first band to be announced at Rogers Stadium, the new 50,000-seat venue opening in Toronto next summer. The announcement was made last week, and Live Nation’s Erik Hoffman told Billboard Canada that the idea for the new concert venue was inspired by a band who otherwise might have deserted the city. That band is likely to be Oasis, but other big announcements could be coming soon.
Noel and Liam Gallagher reunite Oasis for their first shows since the group split in 2009, after enjoying chart success and tabloid infamy. They initially announced a handful of UK dates, which quickly sold out and resulted in a ticket-selling frenzy that left many fans frustrated. More than 10 million fans from 158 countries lined up to buy tickets.
Live Nation reports that plans are underway for the Oasis Live ’25 concert to take place on other continents outside of Europe and North America later next year.
