In 2024, the French teams more or less shone, starting with the team Decathlon AG2R La Mondialewho managed to obtain 30 victories at the highest level this year, thus achieving their best record in almost 25 years! Arkéa-B&B Hotels also managed to establish himself on the podiums of WorldTour races, notably thanks to Luca Mozzatowho finished 2nd in the Tour of Flandersand to Kevin Vauquelinwho scored the first victory in the team's history on the Tour de France. The training of Marc Madiot (Groupama-FDJ) and of Cédric Vasseur (Cofidis) have had more difficulties this season and will have to raise the bar for the 2025 season.

In 2024, there were 12 French teams, but in 2025, there will be 13 with the addition of the team Unibet Tietema Rocketswhich will become a French team.
