Cat Ferguson is unstoppable! Crowned world champion twice last week in the Juniors, the 18-year-old nugget offered herself, this Wednesday afternoon, the greatest victory of her career in the Elite category on the occasion of Binche-Chimay-Binche for Ladies. One year after his compatriot Pfeiffer Georgi (Team dsm-firmenich PostNL), the Britannique of the Movistar Team raised his arms in Binche after 117 kilometers of racing.

The same second and third as last year!

Taking advantage of the problem suffered by the Dutchwoman Charlotte Koolwho unclipped when launching her sprint even though she had been perfectly placed by Franziska Koch, Cat Ferguson – itself impeccably supported by Emma Norsgaard – used her strength on the cobblestones to easily beat the Austrian Christina Schweinberger (Fenix-Deceuninck) and the Finn Anniina Ahtosalo (Uno-X Mobility). It should be noted that Schweinberger et Ahtosalo had already finished second and third last year. The unfortunate Charlotte Kool took fourth place, while the top 5 was completed by the Belgian Marthe Truyen (Fenix-Deceuninck).
