Boom, six goals in one half!

During the second day of the Champions League, Borussia Dortmund struck hard: at the break, the Germans were already leading 5-1 against Celtic. The poor Scots notably fell in front of Karim Adeyemi, author of a hat-trick: the striker first used his speed to deceive the unfortunate Kasper Schmeichel, before planting forcefully following a poorly returned corner, then to take advantage of a poor recovery from Daizen Maeda. Adeyemi, again, also obtained a penalty transformed by Serhou Guirassy, who scored twice. The other peno of the game was the work of Emre Can, who punished a messed up exit from Schmeichel (who however made numerous saves, but who was at the origin of the final pawn signed Felix Nmecha) . Maeda had nevertheless equalized, exploiting a small blunder by… Can.

Taremi in place

For their part, Inter also did the job: against Red Star Belgrade, the Italians took the lead thanks to a magnificent free kick from Hakan Çalhanoğlu in the first act and extinguished the suspense in the second through Marko Arnautović, who sanctioned a ball from Rade Krunić. Taking advantage of the opponent’s depression, the locals then took care of their goal difference via a penalty from Mehdi Taremi (obtained by Lautaro Martinez) and a shot from the same Martinez after some nice work from… Taremi.

Finally, PSV Eindhoven and Sporting Portugal shared the points in a game dominated by the Dutch: Jerdy Schouten made the difference from afar in favor of the Dutch and Daniel Bragança responded against logic in the 84th^e of a personal exploit, despite the unusual silence of Victor Gyökeres.
