I don’t know if I’m satisfied as a lawyer, but my clients are, yes.

Master Rachid Rahmani

Lawyer for the civil party

A verdict which does not surprise the civil party’s lawyer, Master Rachid Rahmani : “ He gave the audience the image of someone who was not at all in redemption, in apology, on the contrary. He was worrying and the jurors found him worrying and considered that we had to protect ourselves from him for a long time. I don’t know if I’m satisfied as a lawyer, but my clients are, yes. »

This support was lacking.

Master Armand Tanoh

Defence lawyer

On the defense side, we consider this decision harsh. Master Armand TanohSteven Baffou’s lawyer highlights his client’s lack of psychological support: “ This support was lacking, which could have been implemented if a decision in terms of reintegration had been taken. By deciding on a sentence of 30 years with two thirds security, we are not given any other solution than to consider appealing. This does not mean that Mr. Baffou minimizes the seriousness of the facts. »

Steven Baffou has 10 days to appeal this judgment.
